My name is Clementine Cordero. I was born and raised in South Florida, where I now reside. Growing up I was a competitive equestrian and basically lived at the barn. This competitive streak shouldn’t haven been a surprise to my parents as my father was the Judo champion of the Air Force, a top notch tennis player and ranked 7th in the world for cliff diving. Wanting to follow in my father’s footsteps I enlisted in the Air Force in 2003 and served two tours of duty in the Middle East. After two deployments I decided to try civilian life out and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Florida with degrees in English and Psychology.
I found my passion for fitness in 2006 when I was transitioning into civilian life. I saw Monica Brandt on the cover of Oxygen magazine and recalling wanting to look strong, yet feminine like her. This was a big stretch for me because at 5’7 I weighed roughly 110lbs and struggled with eating disorders. That one Oxygen magazine changed my life; I set out to gain muscle and physical strength but discovered that was only the result of the building inner strength and self-belief.
In 2010 I began competing.
10 Ancient City Classic 3rd
10 Dexter Jackson Classic 6th
11 Southern States 5th
11 Tampa Bay Extravaganza 2nd
11 Dexter Jackson Classic 3rd
I look forward to returning to the stage very soon!
